My College Experience

My first year of college was great! The college I went to is called Beacon College. It's a liberal arts college exclusively for students who learn differently. It is located in Leesburg FL which is just 1 hour from Orlando and Daytona. It is a small campus with an old town feel. It is quiet (except for Bike Fest weekend) and the residence and businesses know we are here.
Everything about it was just everything I expected and more. What I mean by that is my college is experience was in my control. I made all A's both semesters, I joined extracurriculars, and I even had a social life!
The fact that I got all A's is incredible! I plan to do a blog post on How to Get all A's Your First Year in College so stay tuned! Despite the academics I used my planner a lot so I can be able to attend just about everything that I wanted to go to.
Meeting people in college is life changing. It was a challenge you just have to speak up! You get to know individuals all around the world from Jamaica, Africa, New Mexico, and many more places. Now I can call those people my friends and my family. I gotten to the point where I realized in college you honestly can get super close living with your college peers. Not only were my friends were fantastic my professors and staff members of the college made everything just completely amazing! Just everything was great! I get to be part of the admissions which means I get to help give tours to perspective students. The job is very rewarding because you gain awesome communication and leadership skills. I am also an assistant photographer to those who need photographs for events. I'm part of Student Government and now part of Bloggers Club! That club you get to help write blog posts for the schools website. That actually inspired me to keep working on my blog for you guys. Anyways if you have any questions about my college and my experience and also any requests for blog posts shoot me an email. I really appreciate you guys being so patient with me. Enjoy your day and I'll talk to you Friday!
