Long Time, New Blog
Hello friends,
Sorry I haven't posted any content in a while. I feel terrible about it. However, I have been very busy transitioning from high school to college student. It has been two years since I have done anything and now that I am getting my business and professional life together I might as well continue my 22Q involvement.
So anyways, let me tell you where I have been. I have been in college...YES college! To be exact Beacon College! The college I am attending is located in a small town in Central Florida and is exclusively for Learning Disabilities.
I am currently aiming to go for my Bachelor Degree in Psychology and a minor in Art so I can pursue my career goal which is Art Therapy.
The professors and the staff who helps you out are incrediable! I have had many cool opportunities and now I have a job currently with the school while I am learning as a student.
The jobs I have been part of is helping out with the art community which is a fun group to be around. Also I am part of the Student Ambassadors. The ambassadors are students who assist the admissions office with organization, open house for perspective students, and representing the college.
Having a job like this allows me to be very active with the school. I am very happy to be at Beacon College. It has allowed me to be myself even though I have a learning disability, that label goes away. Everybody forgets we even have a learning difference and we go about our days as young adults.
It is a very rewarding feeling when I see others interested in Beacon College. I feel like I can be part of changing others lives.
Now enough about me, lets talk about YOU GUYS!
I am currently about to be heading home for the summer and I am extremely looking forward to new and improved Teen with a Heart!
My goal is to have two blogs posted Every Wednesday and Friday.
I am always welcome for different blog post suggestions.
It allows me to cook up something exciting for my viewers.
All in all, I will be at 22Q Zoo Day for Atlanta community and I will be a Leader in Training at Camp Braveheart.
Let me know if you have any questions about anything and what you would like to get out of my blog.
Dont be a stranger and have a fantastic day.
Love,
Lindsey
