Keeping your Mind Organize: Desk
Desks in college and in life are essential!
I work at them all the time. They help you focus and understand things better.
Heres an example of my desk. I personalized it to my needs and added some fun lights to it
I use each of these things on my desk because it is how I get things done. For example when I have things to do for homework such as upcoming assignments due that week I place them in the office paper organizer which I call my "Homework Todos!"
As for backing up items I like to take on the go in case I don't feel like dragging my laptop places I use a hard drive. The one I use is linked here
Any size depending on the amount of files you use will differ.
Unfortunately the size I have I am unsure because my dad gave it to me as a gift.
Next is to always hydrate so have a water bottle! I am a guilty human and never drink as much water as I should. However, theres a app called Plant Nanny that you guys should try. It helps motivate you to feed your plant everytime you finish a certain amount of water. It helps in both ways. Hydrates you and makes your plant happy! Next is to keep a task list! The more water you drink through out the day it will help you get things done. You will be energized to get everything done that you needed to do.
Lastly is to get a good lamp and chair. Don't get a color lamp because it will distract you.Get a lamp that is calming and also keeps you alert.
As for a chair do not get your usual cute chair from PBTeen. Hit up your nearest Office Max and get a nice comfy black swivle chair that wont hurt your back.
Anyways, I wanted to write this blog because this is the big jump for some people because of midterms and just because its in the middle of the semester for people.
Whether your in highschool or college take care of yourself and lets finish the semester strong!
