Minimalism in College

Recently I have discovered I am living a minimalist lifestyle in college. If you don't know what a minimalist lifestyle is. It is a lifestyle where you experience things but do it in a minimalistic way.

As of now, I live out of state in a college dorm and then I live with my family when I go home for breaks or at camp.
To me it used to be very stressful because I couldn't find a way to actually plan what I was going to do such as booking flights, how much stuff I am bringing, or just simply getting excited about it.

It is hard for any college student to live a lifestyle that is simplified. Yes, we want to decorate our dorm to feel more home-like, but when it is time to move out again it stresses us out.

Here in this blog, I create 5 tips for living a minimal lifestyle in college.

1. Research minimalism: Minimalism is perfect for someone who doesn't want clutter. Clutter can disorganize your life and make you stress. I recently discovered minimalism through youtube and it has challenged me to better myself through finance, clutter, and travel. I will post resources down below for any tips I mention.

2. Use Pinterest! Seriously, Pinterest is a life saver. It gives me organizational tips, lists and just all aspects of life in just one website.

3. Watch other YouTubers who have gained experienced living a minimalistic lifestyle!

4. Write ideas of what you want to accomplish for minimalism in a journal. It will help you sort things out rather than circling in your head.

5. Practice...practice being a minimalist. I am not all the way to a perfect minimalist but I am willing to continue to work for it.

I hope this blog helps!

Here below I gathered my favorite resources I like to look back on for living a simplified lifestyle in general.
As always comment for questions or feedback.

Thank you guys for being awesome :)
